The ONCOblot ® Test is a single blood test with the ability to confirm the presence of cancer through the detection of the ENOX2 protein. This protein is produced by the tissue of origin only which enables the test to identify 27 primary cancers from 20 different organ sites.

Most tests look for elevated levels of normal substances which might indicate the possibility of a cancer, and some tests look for a genetic predisposition to develop cancer. What makes the ONCOblot ® Test unique is that it detects the presence of the ENOX2 protein which only exists if malignant cancer is present.

Where is the Cancer? If the ENOX2 protein is present, the tissue of origin can be identified from the test. This provides key and valuable information to both patient and physician when looking to future treatment.
