Qi Gong and a subform called TaiChi are simple, easy to learn body postures and movements that anyone can do regardless of age, physical health or flexibility. Unlike a gym workout which expends the body’s energy, these forms of movement promote the cultivation of energy in the body to encourage optimal health and wellness. Cultivation of energy in the body is equally as important as a good cardiovascular workout.
QiGong and TaiChi also help to relieve stress, improve balance and strength and aid in the release of physical and emotional pain leading to improved quality of life. The classes offered by The Healing Sanctuary are tailored to our clientele, many of whom are dealing with challenging health conditions, who will have the greatest benefit from the small focused classes that allow for more one on one attention.
